Coit Road Farmers Market Taste of Autumn Benefit


Annual Coit Road Farmers Market Benefit
Monday, October 8, 6pm
Beachland Ballroom

Hosted by Fred Griffith of Good Morning Cleveland, Coit Road's Taste of Autumn Benefit features live music by Albert Dennis & friends and the taste of the local harvest from area farmers prepared by area chefs.


Featured chefs include:

  • Brian Doyle of The Beachland Ballroom, Grovewood Tavern, personal chef
  • Eric Wells, personal chef
  • Robin Blair, personal chef
  • Ryan Cipriani, Angela-Mia Pizza 
  • Junior, Batiste & Dupree
Founded in 1932, the mission of the Coit Road Market is to provide access to affordable locally sourced farmed fresh products to the residents of Greater Cleveland.  The proceeds support operation of the market during the winter months. The event includes information about the market, community gardens and local urban farmers.

Tickets for $35 are available at at the Coit Road Farmers’ Market or online at www.coitmarket.org. The Beachland is located at 15711 Waterloo Road, Cleveland, Ohio 44110.

Survey Market Shoppers

Receive a FREE Growhio t-shirt!

Growhio and its partner markets seek volunteers to conduct very brief in-person surveys of shoppers at 8 area farmers' markets. The surveys are designed to gauge the impact of our collaborative marketing campaign on first time and returning market visitors.

We are seeking 1 volunteer per market to conduct surveys on 5 separate market days. Volunteers who survey 6 visitors (at least 3 of which must be new visitors) per market day on 5 separate survey days will receive a free Growhio t-shirt! Volunteers are not required to stay for the the entire market - only long enough to collect the 6 surveys.

Join us at the Coit Market on Saturday, June 2 from 8:00A to 1:00P for our 80th Anniversary
Celebration. The celebration will include activities for all ages such as entertainment, games,
information tables, health screenings and food. See the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame chicken coop,
bee hive, community gardens and urban farm. Founded in 1932, the market is located at the
intersection of Coit and Woodworth Roads near East 152nd and provides access to affordable
locally sourced food to the residents of Greater Cleveland.

Of course there will be varieties of vegetables including greens, free range eggs, greens, tons of
cheese, baked goods, maple syrup, honey, spices and plenty more from our local farmers.

The Broadway, Coit Road, Downtown Cleveland, Gateway 105, Gordon Square, Kamm's Corners, Lakewood, Tremont and WOW farmers' markets are seeking vendors for the 2012 outdoor market season! Details and application information.

Join us at the Coit Market on Saturday, March 31 from 8:30A to 12:00P for our French toast breakfast featuring Chef Robin Blair.  With the sap running, we’ll have Northeast Ohio maple syrup, French toast from free range eggs, sausage, apple cider and coffee…all for $5. Proceeds from will help fund planting materials for our on-site urban farm cooperative. 
Kid’s events include Face Painting and a Petting Zoo with ducks, chickens, rabbits and goats.


You can visit the Coit Road Farmers’ Market year round on Saturdays from 8 AM to 1PM.

French Toast Breakfast at Coit Road Farmers' Market

On Saturday, March 19th from 8:30am to 12 noon, Coit Road Farmers' Market will host a French toast breakfast featuring Chef Eric Wells. With sap running, the breakfast will include Northeast Ohio maple syrup, free range eggs, sausage, apple cider and coffee ... all for only $5!


Proceeds will benefit Coit's onsite greenhouse project.

Of course the market will also have apples, free range eggs (chicken and duck), greens, tons of cheese, baked goods, maple syrup, honey, spices and plenty more from local farmers.

The Coit Road Farmers' Market is open from 8am to 1pm on Saturdays. It is located at 15000 Woodworth Road in East Cleveland.
