The 2011 Holiday Market kicks off tomorrow, 11am-2pm at
The Arcade with a Vermicomposting workshop with Dan Morgan from
Morgan Farmstay. Composting starter kits will be available for sale. Chair massages will also be available from
Dreams Massage and BodyWorks - $10.00 for 10 minutes!

Throughout the season we'll also be taking orders for poinsettias, which will be grown locally at
Kollman's Greenhouse in Twinsburg. Poinsettias will be delivered to DFM in early-December and will be available for pick up at the market.
Shoppers can give back by bringing canned goods and new, unwrapped toys to the market. These items will be donated to Old Stone Church on December 4. The food items will be used for Old Stone’s free weekly grocery bag program and the toys will given to
Family Promise of Greater Cleveland, a shelter for homeless families. (See
here for requested food items)
The 2011 Holiday Market will take place on Fridays, 11am-2pm at The Arcade (401 Euclid Avenue) from November 4 – December 23.
Cleveland Cooks with John Q's Steakhouse -
FREE Cooking Class!

John Q's Steakhouse will prepare a few of the restaurant's specialty steaks for our next cooking class, which takes place on Friday, November 11 at 1:30-3:00pm at Old Stone Church.
Located on Public Square since 1979, John Q's Steakhouse has been an anchor in downtown dining. John Q's uses locally sourced ingredients, including produce from our very own
Por Bar Farms. The menu features Certified Angus Beef, including items such as a 24oz porterhouse, 12oz black pepper strip steak, 12oz bone-in filet mignon and a 18oz bone-in Rib eye steak. It also features lamb and pork chops, along with a variety of fresh fish daily.

Growhio Education Sessions, classes include a guided market tour, hands-on instruction in meal preparation and tips on how to grow produce easily at home.
