Happenings at Tremont Farmers' Market

Hello, Loyal Market Folk.

Celebrate the Day of the Dead with food, art and music!

If nothing else, running this market has taught me to be flexible.
We appreciate yours, as we tell you we have had to relocate to
Holy Ghost Greek (Byzantine) Catholic Church and Cultural Center
2420 W.14 St, on the corner of Kenilworth Ave.  Parking available in the lot across the street and on Kenilworth!

Chef Demo: Jose Coronado (cook at Fat Cats) and his mother Josephine Casimiro both of Guatemala.

Altar and artwork by Hector Castellanos (Guatemala) and Ana Luisa Sanchez (Mexico). Both artists will have artwork related to the Day of the Dead available for purchase!

Musical entertainment by Felipe Mercado (Chile) at 5pm and Patricia Bussert (Venezuela) at 6pm.

Donate food to our Dia de Muertos Harvest Shrine so that the spirits of good food will answer our wishes!
-Reduce diet-related disease by promoting safe, healthy foods
-Support sustainable farms & limit subsidies to big agribusiness
-Protect the environment & animals by reforming factory farms
-Promote health by curbing junk-food marketing to kids
-Support fair conditions for food and farm workers

All food donations will be donated to the hunger center at St. Augustine!

*Thank you for your ongoing interest in the Tremont Farmers' Market!

Our market is part of a special ODA-grant funded collaboration with Growhio and several other independent farmers' markets across greater Cleveland. We would like to be able to send you joint updates and newsletters to keep you apprised of this collaboration and what exciting things it will mean for our independent markets, but we want to be sensitive to your mailing preferences.

If you would like to receive these mailings, we hope you'll subscribe now.

If you are not interested in receiving collaboration-oriented newsletters you do not need to take any action.  Thanks again for your interest!
