Happenings at Downtown Farmers' Market September 28

Friday, September 28, 2012

Join us Fridays 11am-2pm!
Let's Growhio Challenge: To celebrate Sustainable Cleveland 2019's Year of Local Food, Growhio is challenging you to "Let's Growhio!" You can win restaurant and farmers' market gift certificates and Growhio t-shirts by filling out a challenge card on the contest webpage, shooting a photo or video of yourself doing a challenge action (such as making a dish with local ingredients or shopping for produce at a farmers' market), and sharing that photo/video with Growhio via social media.

Free cooking class with Cleveland Indians: On Friday, October 12, Jacob Galbraith of the Cleveland Indian's will lead our final cooking class of the season. The class takes place at Old Stone Church from 1:30-3:30pm.
To attend this intimate hands-on cooking class, please email downtownclevelandmarket@gmail.com or call (440) 821-0254.
About Cleveland Cooks
A monthly cooking series providing hands-on demonstrations from area chefs. Classes are free and open to the public and include a guided market tour, hands-on instruction in meal preparation and tips on how to grow produce easily at home. Cleveland Cooks was made possible thanks to a grant from Neighborhood Connections and space generously donated by Old Stone Church.

Locally Brewed Extravaganza at Coit Road Market: If you're looking for something to do tonight, consider attending Locally Brewed Extravaganza at Coit Road Farmers Market. Home brewed beers and local food from the market. Cleveland Critical Mass will ride to the event from Public Square at 7:00pm.
