EcoWatch's Celebration with Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.

Come support the efforts of EcoWatch and Waterkeeper Alliance as they celebrate the launch of their national news service on Thursday, Oct. 27 at 6 p.m. at Windows on the River, 2000 Sycamore St.

Also, join us on Thursday, Oct. 27 at 2:30 p.m. at Rivergate Park, 1785 Merwin Ave., the home of the Cleveland Rowing Foundation. EcoWatch and Waterkeeper Alliance will announce the launch of their news service website and celebrate the Cuyahoga River's role in the birth of the grassroots environmental movement and passage of the Clean Water Act.

The event will feature brief remarks from Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson, George Gund Foundation’s senior program officer for the environment John Mitterholzer and Cleveland Foundation’s program officer Nelson Beckford, with Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., founder and president of Waterkeeper Alliance, as the keynote speaker.
