Downtown Farmers Market returns to Public Square for its second season!

Each Friday, 11am-2pm, look forward to delicious prepared foods for lunch as well as fresh fruits and vegetables, eggs, meat, cheese, spices, salsas, chocolate and baked goods to take home.

Come down on your lunch hour and visit one of the food trucks (Dim and Den Sum and StrEat Mobile Bistro) or stop by Judy's Oasis for a Middle Eastern meal including Falafel sandwiches & meat pies, or Frickaccio's for pizza bagels and pepperoni rolls. You'll also find sweets from No Whey Chocolates and Oh Baby Cakes - c'mon, it's Friday, treat yourself!

The Downtown Farmers Market proudly accepts WIC, Senior’s Coupons, EBT (Ohio Direct Card) and debit cards. Thanks to the generosity of The George Gund Foundation, EBT users will receive an extra $5 in tokens to spend at the market.

  • Blaze Gourmet: Exotic hot sauces, salsas, rubs, BBQ sauces, and drink mixes
  • The Beanery at Urban Homestead: Locally roasted coffee, featuring on-site beverages and beans to-go
  • SpiceHound: High quality spices, herbs, chilies, and natural salts
  • Plant Kingdom Bakery: Vegan, organic and gluten-free snacks and bakery
  • Zoss, The Swiss Baker: Breads, pastries, Bavarian pretzels and savory tarts
  • Frickaccio’s: Pizza Bagels and pepperoni rolls
  • Oh Baby Cakes: Cupcakes that come in many flavors: Strawberry Lemonade, Banana, German Chocolate, Peach, Carrot, and more!
  • StrEat Mobile Bistro: Locally sourced, chef-driven soups, sandwiches, salads and sides
  • Dim and Den Sum: Regional comfort foods with an Asian flair

DFM has
fava-fever! Check out this recipe for Bessara, a Moroccan fava bean dip:

Bessara - Fava Bean Dip
2 quarts Fava Beans
1 lemon (juice & zest)
2 cloves garlic
1/3 cup olive oil
Salt & pepper to taste

First, peel the fava beans and remove the waxy covering. Combine the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve cold with pita chips from Judy's Oasis or tortilla chips from Blaze Gourmet.

Bring your leftover containers with you - our vendors will reuse them!
  • Cowboy George will happily accept your empty salsa and hot sauce jars.
  • The Beanery at Urban Homestead is now packaging their coffee in reusable containers - Mason jars! You'll receive a $.50 discount on smalls and a $1.00 discount on the larges when you return with the bottles to get them refilled.
  • And, don't forget your reusable shopping bag!
