Farmers' Market Today!Come 'n get it -- the market will be closed for Labor Day (Sept 5), so make sure to stop by this afternoon and pick from the large variety of produce that our wonderful vendors are offering.Plus, we'll have a little live music for your listening pleasure: Matt Rumizen will be setting up guitar and amp to soothe your summer soul!
Here's a sampling of today's offerings:
Por-Bar Farms: Berries, Husk Ground Cherries, Tomatoes, Basil, Cilantro, Dill, Beans, Edamame Soybeans, Peppers, Okra, Eggplant, Squash/Zucchini, Swiss Chard (and possibly new crop of peas!).
Lou Slosar: heaping baskets of Garlic, and Chard, Green Beans and Basil.
Willow Youth Farm: Cherry Tomatos, Broccoli, Greens, Herbs, and more
Green Corps won't be at the market today... but they'll be back starting September 12.
Canal Corners: Potatoes, Squash, Tomatoes, Okra, Beets, Zucchini, Beans, Greens, and more.
Noon Sharpening is able to sharpen anything you own with a blade... lawn mower blades, scissors, knives, etc!
Shipley's Coffee House offers a variety of Smoothie and Coffee drinks.
